I don’t believe it’s the only way,
because I’ve been told,
that once, ages and ages ago,
two roads had diverged.
You took one,
and as way led on to another way,
I think you forgot about the other.
You can’t see them now,
but I still stand before them,
looking at each,
and at you.
Let me take the one you didn’t,
Please.

Robert Frost took the one less traveled by. You take the other one, i.e. the one that is traveled by frequently. Did I miss something?
It was ambiguous, I changed the title to make it more clear. Thanks.
But I think Robert Frost didn't really take the one less travelled by. He said he would tell others he took the one less travelled by, even though he had no way to decide one over the other.
Unless you travel through both roads, how do you *know* for sure which is the one less travelled by? How does anyone?

Exactly. We don't. And even then -
"I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."
