That song

She lies down in darkness
listening to that song
that reminds her of she and him.

She knows she won't want him long,
she longs not for him
but for the longing for him,
but ignoring that
she lies,
crying, and wishing for the feeling
that the song talks about.

And then they wake her up
and send her away,
and resisting she relents,
and lives happily ever after,
as the blame for lovelessness lies elsewhere.

Somehow, this reminds me of a quote by Vibhav ... "touching raw numb nerves is my job" :)

My suggestion to "her" would be: If fate means you to lose, if it a good fight anyhow.

dnt blame the lovelessness
bcoz the love is no less
bt tht tht the love isn't he anymore
is painful.

bt ppl insist.. tht life moves on.

I had to go way back to find that! Thanks for reminding me...

The end is good, in a way.

Ten years too late maybe :D

We're mixing separate stories here...

and life insists that people move on.
